GrainMend IR needs a separate infrared image. Availability depends on the scanner and the installed build.

Supported scanners
Connecting a film scanner requires the separate scanner plugin.
These ratings come from the SANE 1.4 device list. They do not mean every model has been tested in negaflow.

Check the USB ID for the 8100 and 8200i. Corrections for the 7400 v1 landed after SANE 1.4.0; results with stock 1.4.0 hardware remain unverified.

Support varies by model. LS-20, LS-30 and LS-1000 are SCSI-only. The mac26 installer includes the macOS Coolscan fixes. Film loading, ejecting and resetting on the LS-5000 remain unverified.

Scanner not showing up?
Restart negaflow after installing the plugin, then approve it in the scanner window. If the scanner is still missing, check connection troubleshooting.
